Eppendorf 5417R Refrigerated Centrifuge 16400 RPM!
For sale through ebay. See link for photos and more information:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3832365860
This Eppendorf 5417R Refrigerated Centrifuge appears to be in good
condition. It recently came from a working environment. The
centrifuge powers up, but registers an Error code 3; according to
the manual (included with centrifuge) this mean that no rotor is
present. There are a few light scratches and scuffs in the casing, but
nothing serious. The centrifuge is missing the rotor (the disk shaped
thing one puts the eppendorf tubes into), and there is a crack in the
plastic around the shaft (see link above for photos).
WITHOUT THE ROTOR, I CANNOT TEST THIS DEVICE, AND AM THEREFORE SELLING
IT AS-IS.
