Hello all, I have a foodsaver Vac 500 I bought awhile ago. It has been working
fine till the other day. I now will pump all of the air out of the bags, but
it won`t start the seal process. It just keeps pumping air like there is a
hole in the bag. There is no hole in the bag. I also tried in on mason jars
with the attachment for that. It
just keeps trying to pump the air out. Never starts the sealing process?
Any Ideas?
Thanks.........Dan.

Bad pressure switch?.. I would make the blind assumption that it has a
pressure sensor that can tell when your below xxx mBar and that it's either
out of adjustment or bad.

There is like a little piece of foam or cotton in the line that can come
easily clogged going to the pressure switch.
