Fluke 8024A, repair or replace?

My old Fluke 8024A thinks a charged NIIMH cell (1.2V) is supplying
15V, and a near-dead 9V batt is at 52V (!)
Their new DMM's are priced a biit too high for me..

Does anyone have an idea what Fluke charges to fix these old meters?

Any suggestions on a good replacement (under $100) that might have
some additional featues?
