\"COVID patients who had not received a flu vaccine within the last year had 2.4 times greater odds of being hospitalized and 3.3 times greater chance of being transferred to the ICU,\"

They have no idea why this is, it\'s what\'s called an association, and they can only guess why it is. Who cares? The association is enough for people looking to proactively look out for themselves.

Cross-reactivity of antibodies, general immune-boosting effect of being
exposed to viral proteins, some combination?

Timing is everything. The people in the study were infected as early as March. Assuming they received the flu shot the previous October at the latest, that would be 5 months.

Or maybe just the fact that people who are responsible enough and care enough about themselves to get the flu shot also take protective measures during the pandemic rather than entering stores without masks and yelling about their freedoms being violate??? I\'m just sayin\'

White cars are safer than any other. Why? Is there something magical in
the paint???

Or, is it that folks who aren\'t \"concerned\" about having a cherry red
or midnight black VEHICLE are possibly more conscientious drivers?

Cars come in like five stock colors nowadays, black, white, white-ish,
grey, dark grey. Sometimes brown is offered though it might be called
something like \"desert sand mica.\"

Anything else tends to be an option, with garish colors only available
on the high trim lines of sports cars.

White cars are a lot more visible in certain conditions - grey tends to
be the worst in my experience, it blends in really well in urban areas.

Daytime running lights on grey cars is a great idea, they can be really
tough to spot at dusk with their lights off.

I routinely see brown, orangish-brown (I have no idea what to call the color),
red, deep blue and yellow new to the neighborhood. Fix-It-Again-Tonys have
their own idea of what a \"normal\" color should be (lots of weird pastels)

I suspect dealers try to fill their lots with more \"generic\" colors but don\'t
imagine all of these folks are waiting for their \"lemon yellow\" car to be
special ordered.

(they might have caught a deal if a dealer happened to speculate on one too
many of these less-typical colors as I can\'t imagine people actually
WANTING some of the weirder ones -- pea-soup green?)

Orange-brown is some kind of \"copper\"

As a driver of a red car for a number of years I sometimes think other
drivers drive more aggressively around red cars. Flag -> bull kind of
thing. Grey cars are less triggering

I\'m in a silver SL five pound on the block
Ain\'t you ever seen a young player clown in a drop?
Ain\'t nuthin\' to it, G, game spit fluently
Groups of hoes pursuing me, as if it\'s more than two of me!

Monday my Chevy orange, and Tuesday it\'s ocean blue (damn!)
Twenty-eights sit over you, Ferrari drops and Rovers, too
Hoes, sit \'em out, TV\'s, I\'ma flip \'em out
Fifty bricks, that ain\'t shit, tell them niggas ship it out

Color coated rims chop the streets \'til they rock up
Muscle car straight bucket, look how it stands up
Yeah make the ride look like a fruit drank
It makes these hoes thirsty when they see the pineapple paint
