Hi,
somebody has posted a most excellent web page that shows how to take apart
an HP printer to change the scanner motor assembly. I followed the
directions and it fixed the error 52 on my HP2p printer.
The page is here:
http://tdilo.sdf-eu.org/lj/
I found a dead fly inside the box that holds the motor assembly. Perhaps it
caused this error because the chip looks fine.
Good luck to you if you decide to try to work on your printer.
Cheers
