Finding power and operating point in Spectre WITHOUT ADE

Hi,

I have a netlist with instance I0 and I'm trying to run spectre. I've
got the following statements right after instance I0:

save I0:pwr
save I0:eek:ppoint

According to cdsdoc, this should save the power in the instance I0 and
also its operating point. My question is how can I actually view these
results if I don't use ADE? I haven't seen anything in Wavescan.

Also, I get the following warning message:

'I0' : Does not have a terminal named 'oppoint'.
Ignoring invalid item 'I0:eek:ppoint' in save statement

If there is another way to measure the power used by I0 (a small
analog circuit), please let me know.

Thanks,

Mohit.

Hi Mohit,

Saving the operating point for a subckt instance doesn't make sense. Operating
point data is for primitive devices.

As for the pwr information - you should be able to find that in the results
browser for whatever analysis you ran (e.g. tran, dc, whatever). You should
something showing up as I0:pwr in the results.

Regards,

Andrew.
