Just received word that Xilinx has implemented some features of VHDL-2008 in their Vivado tool. Some of you guys may be interested to try these new compiler features.

I would like to thank Dan for the good work he has been doing for
standardizing VHDL.

Finally unconstrained element types. But it is still too early to use it in any real design. Wish this was available two years ago.
