filter question

hi all,

I have some specs for a filter but don' t know what it all means
Like in Tx path:
- 10 bit D/A, 100 MSPS
- 2x oversampling digital low pas filter

What does MSPS and 2x oversampling mean?

Hi Gecke,

What does MSPS

Mega (million) Samples Per Second, in your case, 100,000,000 samples is
taken each second.

and 2x oversampling mean?

It samples twice as often and averages the result to present the data at
half the rate.
