filter expression in Result Browser

Hi,

I have done a Spectre simulation and want to view the results using
the Result Browser. Because there is a huge amount of simulation
data, the Result Browser can't handle to open the tran-tran file. So
I want to set a filter option that only a certain hierarchical level
will be displayed. My guess was: ".*tran/Transmitter*". But this does
not work.
Has someone any experience with this problem?

Thanks in advance,
hikom

Hmm. Normally it does show the results hierarchically. Are you using some
ancient version? What about using wavescan?

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

I'm using the version ic5.033. And you are right, that the result
browser don't show the results hierarchically. But I want to use the
filter expressions, so that e.g only the currents of a certain
instance are displayed. Is this possible?
But anyway, I will try to use the wavescan tool.

you can maybe better use ocean to open this result. type ocnHelp in you CIW ,
and follow the data access hints. Then you can combine that with regexps if you
really want to make a filter function.
