Hi all,
Looking for some information on Lead Acid Rechargeable batteries
Often we find batteries online cheaper / more choice than a store. My
question is how to find out how old / how long the item is sitting
without been recharged as we all know they loose their capacity if not
maintained properly.

Ask ther manufacturer of the brand of battery you want to buy.

That's a good question. I had an '82 Mustang that needed a new battery
every 24 months.

Manufacturer asks the serial number and unless you buy or going to buy
from a local store it's difficult to get before paying. Also most of
the models are not available at local store! I don't think that's a
solution.
