Something I haven't clearly understood is whether you are selling a single
set of two CPUs (four VIAs) for the amount of the auction, or if the amount
of the auction is for a single chip. Sorry, I have been confused by the use
of both singular and plural forms...

Do you also have 64k x 4 DRAM chips ? I would need four (well, at least two
:)

Best regards,

Fabrice

What a shame this could not have been left in their vintage computers.

Ebay's site should make this clearer: It is a quantity auction, the bids
are per chip (on the CPU and VIAs)

64kx4 .. rats ... no :)

Yes, it is. However, the original computers were physically not in good
condition (externally damaged) and so wouldn't have been much use, except
for spares, and that's where we came in ... the electronics were OK
though ...

Or alternatively, were working 8088-8MHz motherboards with no onboard
anything, the size of a house. Realistically, no-one has use for one of
these. So what to do, landfill them, burn them, or split for spares?

I don't break up working units for a lark, you know ;)
