when I load the virtuoso, it shows

That's a very old version (it's the original IC61 release). Normally
this would come about because of some build problem - maybe your
hierarchy has got a mix of different versions, or maybe something is
wrong with your $LD_LIBRARY_PATH?

Either way, it's an unsupported release and it's hard to figure out what
the problem is. I've not seen any reports of this precise problem...
