Does anyone know of a good ready available equivalent for a 40235
transistor ?
The 40235 is a 4 legged metal can TO-18 ? type.
Its in an IF Amp circuit.

FWIW, the following ECG parts are shown with parts they replace:

ECG161M 2SC398 2SC720
ECG161P MPS6568A

AFAIK, ECG numbers generally equate to the same NTE numbers.
