A Rusting Oil Tanker Off the Coast of Yemen Is an Environmental Catastrophe Waiting to Happen. Can Anyone Prevent It?

Funds are in place and they\'re just now starting to make workable arrangements for safely offloading the oil

Mo gets Time Magazine, free I think from some org she donates to. It\'s
awful, the ideal read for frightened neurotics. It reminds me of the
old Readers Digest whose editorial goal was to terrify retirees.

I recall an article about how lethal aerosol spray cans are.

Perhaps 10x more Iranian oil tanker storages, condition unknown. Storing oil at sea is just bad idea.

The Readers Digest article warned of them exploding and killing people
on the spot.

You can worry about that too.

It was being used as an oil terminal, the economy model. Tankers would pull up to it to be loaded up with oil. The main oil storage was in tanks on land and the oil was pumped several miles through a pipe on the seabed out to this floating oil terminal ship. Seems if they could pipe the oil out to the ship, they could rig it so it could be pumped from the ship back to land.. I would think just as a contingency they would at least have it valved to do that much. Maybe it\'s expecting too much.
