EPA’s New Renewable Fuel Standard Will Increase Gl obal Carbon Emissions — Not Lower Them...

Ooops...

When it comes to clean fuel for transportation, the EPA has taken a wrong turn.

Of course it did, the entire idea was from a radically different era of energy technology and transportation.

EPA still going forward:

U.S. EPA denies nearly all biofuel blending exemption petitions

People are starving all over the world because Russia has reduced
grain supplies and we are burning corn in cars.

Actually there isn\'t a bit of starvation as a result of the war in Ukraine. And on top of that there is no such thing as starvation due to lack of food anywhere in the world. There is starvation occurring, but it\'s not for lack of food, it\'s all due to militaristic turmoil preventing access to food.

Stop your fake

EPA has nothing to do with science

Water in vapor state is the only greenhouse gas which counts, due to high heat of phase changes

CO2 is no more greenhouse, which matters

Ask EPA to read R&D papers by Water Cycle 2021 Nobelist from Japan

Nothing that a a can understand, which isn\'t a surprise. A a understands very little, and what he thinks he understands he get wrong.

> Water in vapor state is the only greenhouse gas which counts, due to high heat of phase changes.

Wrong. Water is a greenhouse gas because water vapour has infra-red absorbtion bands. Solid and liquid water don\'t come into it.

> CO2 is no more greenhouse, which matters.

Gas phase CO2 also has infrared absorbtion bands (in different areas than water vapour) so it also acts as greenhouse gas as does methane.

What would the EPA learn form a climate modeller? A a clearly hasn\'t the faintest idea what his work menas.

Phase change to liquid is actually a good thing because it purges the H2O from the atmosphere in the form of rain.

If his work laid the foundation for current climate models, then he would be the first one to tell you CO2 is a very critical part of global warming.

Wrong. Water is a greenhouse gas because water vapour has infra-red absorbtion bands. Solid and liquid water don\'t come into it.

Phase change to liquid is actually a good thing because it purges the H2O from the atmosphere in the form of rain.

Rain also scatters light - thick enough clouds raise the albedo of the planet, which is the opposite of the greenhouse effect.

It\'s more that water vapour freezes out of the atmosphere if you get high enough (which CO2 doesn\'t) which means that water vapour as greenhouse has more effect at lower altitudes.

CO2 is no more greenhouse, which matters.

Gas phase CO2 also has infrared absorbtion bands (in different areas than water vapour) so it also acts as greenhouse gas as does methane.
