You don't, you moron. If you RTFM, you'll see that it has a "heat" setting.
It also works to warm up rocks for those cold nights on Umbriel.

If you have done your correct space traing you will know that a military
standard phaser cannot be set low enough to cook a "TV dinner".

There is not enough mass in the "dinner" to soak up the energy fired at it.

You will end up with fried charcoal flying around the cabin.

You don't seem to think about the safety of others.

beam.
After the fumes blow away, enjoy your meal.
