I see that NC verilog and VCS enable encryption of SDF files, does
modelsim support something similar ??

Thanks in advance

Hi Paul,
Not sure if you are referring to "compiled SDF" as "encrypted".
AFAIK NC doesn't have encryption for SDF (perhaps I am not upto date, but I
did a quick check on NC 5.0). But I know that NC & Modelsim can read in
GZIPPED SDF files. Also with 5.8 release Modelsim has the elab flow in place
(which has been around with NC since its inception), which can speed up your
SDF loading every time, provided you don't change your DUT/SDF.
