In the land of the greatest democracy they banned Eminem's song
about the current political situation.

Not politically correct and not favourable to the current regime?

Vote smart!

Nope -- the reason is quite easy to find out, if you spend a few minutes and
research it.

Nobody banned it. He's lip-syncing it all over the place. I wonder
whose voice it really is?

Oooh. If there's one thing the Dutch are intolerant of, it's
intolerance.
The Dutch are reaping the rewards of 'multiculturalism'.

I did and I found this:

Woman Banned From Owning Media For Playing Eminem Song

A woman in the UK has been banned from owning a TV, stereo or radio for two
years, after repeatedly playing "Stan" by Eminem so loud that it made neighbors
furniture vibrate across the floor. Officials measured the noise from a
neighbors flat & found the levels to be 65 decibels - the legal level a passing
airplane is allowed to make.

Wrong direction. Look into FEC regulations regarding equal and fair airtime
for candidate platforms.

Pity nobody is standing on the 'shoot the pigs and fuck the hos and bitches'
platform. Maybe then we'd all get a rest from the world's most dysfunctional
Black male culture.

What? You're feeding a troll, or is that irrelevant reply a
counter-troll?

It's obvious to me that the issue is not content, but SPL.

Hey, Mike, you must be old enough to remember those ads (for Marantz?)
that had someone yelling "turn down the volume" and explained that
they really meant "turn down the distortion"?

P.S. Riiiiight. ;-)

Well, that "Eminem song banned due to anti-Bush content" was aired by one of the
local radio stations here, admitedly it is alternative radio station. The
anti-Bush sentiment
here in Europe is obviously going over the top, exagerating things to extreem is
becoming
common. I used to regard this radio station highly :(

Nothing so sinister. The decision to ban his music is not a political
decision. It is not a decency decision. It is not even a public health
decision.

It's just that his music sucks. (ha-ha)

According to the story I read, some woman was prohibited from playing
the radio or any noisemaking appliance for two years, and Eminem just
happened to be the noise that broke the camel's back.

Thanks,
Rich
