emerson ms2580rda TV problem

I have an Emerson MS2580RDA that had a burnt HOT
when i replaced it and turned it on it makes a clicking noise about 3 times
a sec. seems to be coming from the flyback.I put the HV wire against the
chasis and it sparks a small approx.1/8 inch for every tick sound.could
anybody help me with this problem?I hate to spend money on a service manual.

Check to see if the new HOT is burned again. See if there are proper drive
pulses coming from the scan generator to the base of the HOT. If there are
only start-up pulses, from the scan gen, it is possible that there are
problems in the main power supply, HT multiplier (usually part of the
flyback), the flyback itself, and or some of the caps in the area. It is
also possible that something is shorted, and loading the flyback secondary
too much.

You will have to get the service manual and troubleshoot this. There are a
lot of variables here.
