emacs crashes with the latest verilog-mode on WinXP. Any ide

I just installed the latest verilog-mode.el on my WinXP machine, but
emacs always crashes when I try to open a .v file. Does anybody know
how to fix this?

The author might.
Email a debug trace then revert to the previous
version or try a different machine.
