Elpida makes Q1 loss, cuts capex 32%

Elpida, the No.3 DRAM producer, made an operating loss of $64m and a net loss of $101m in calendar Q1 and reckons the DRAM market has ‘bottomed out’ according to COO Yoshitaka Kinoshita.
