If you want a quality design package for free, use gEDA on Linux.

I doubt that *printing* was ever intended to produce decent artwork for pcbs !

You may want to look at the options in Acrobat btw.

Hi,
I had tried to print in different dpi 9330 dpi, 600dpietc.) but I
didn't get a decent PCB artwork. I had an old version of Ultiboard (ver
5), it has no problem in printing, so I think the problem is in EWB.

try using ageneric printer driver based on the type you have.

eg. generic laser
or generic deskjet
