Hi I need a control that will turn of a circuit on and off a certain
number of times...

the easiest way I can explain this is with this example...

"If I had a digital watch and to get to the stop watch feature I would
have to push the mode button 3 times... I want to be able to push one
button to get to the stop watch feature.."

Although the device I want to do this with is not a watch the
components and are very similar. I am looking for a workaround way to
automate this process as simply as possible...

Anyone understand at all what I am babbling about ? :)
Is there an easy way to achieve this?

you mean a single push of a button is to start a command sequence to
simulate a push of a button 3 times?
