I need to be able to move a few ounces, possibly up to a couple of
pounds approximately 2" or less using electrical actuation.
I've searched for electro-mechanical actuators on line, but it seems
they are all designed for much more demanding applications. All I need
is a bit of speed (2" in under a second), and at least reasonable
durability. These would only be used perhaps once a month, and get
cycled 30 times or so.
Are there any resources for building your own?
