Would two large capaciters be cheaper than batteries to drive an electric
car. Say a couple of 2 farad capacitors. Capicators would recharge faster
too.

No. The energy density of capacitors will always be lower than
chemical batteries. Electric fields across insulating layers cannot
compete with chemical bonds.
