e2v unveils broadband mini helix travelling wave tubes

Essex-based e2v has announced two broadband mini helix travelling wave tubes (TWTs). The first operates between 4.5 and 18GHz and is available now, and when it is released later this year, the second will operate a 2-18GHz .
