Dynamic RFID tag chip ???

Hi,
For a specific project I am looking for a RFID active tag chip, but with
both contactless and wired connectivity.

Basically I want to design a RFID tag, but with an on-board microcontroller
which should be able to change the content of the RFID tag based on external
events, through a I2C link or similar. Do you know products or chips that
could implement this functionnality ?

Frequency range probably in the 13MHz or 860MHz bands.

I doubt it, you'd need a lot of power to write, unless it is a battery
powered tag.
I'd use either a straight serial number, with the dynamic data
pertaining to the tagged object stored in a database on a PC
somewhere, or a contact storage device.

Many thaks for all your replies. In the mean time I'vee found a quite
perfect solution from Atmel, so if you are interested here it is :
AT88RF001. It's a 13.56MHz RFID tag, accessing an external EEPROM through a
synchronous serial port. So no issue to use a microprocessor emulating the
eeprom. Anyone having an experience with it ? Another candidate, also from
Atmel, seems to be the AT24RF08 : an eeprom with both RFID tag interface
(125KHz) and external I2C port.

FWIW, the AT24RF08 is used by IBM in their Thinkpads.
