I have a drawing I need to look at and hate to buy something...currently is
there a free DXF viewer available that will let me print?

I see alot about volo view (from autocad) but it's no longer free?

Thanks

Take a look a the excellent free (for non-commercial use) image viewer
Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) .

Cheers,

Filip.

Open office's drawing program will open many DXF files.

I downloaded this and all the plug-ins but everytime I try to view a DXF I
get a pop up screen that prompts me to fill out a registration form, again
and again.

It shows all the plug in info as cadsoft stuff?

I looked at the list of supported formats and didn't see .DXF mentioned
anywhere.

Yeah, I know it took a plug-in (supposedly) that i downloaded and giving me

For what formats it supports it must be very popular....

Have you tried the (free) QCad? It uses DXF as its native file format.

HTH...
