Just a quick question......

Would a DVD movie bought in Canada/USA play on a player in Aus?
I've noticed that Play Station games have the format printed on the
cover, but I can't seen to find this info on movies.

Thanks,
Derek.

Yes, provided ur player is:-

1. Multiregion, ie it can play all regions disc,
2. Both TV & player is NTSC compatible.

All DVD movie cases I have seen have a region code printed on them to
denote which country/countries an unmodified DVD player manufactured
for that country will be capable of successfully playing them.

Look up your DVD player model on http://www.videohelp.com/

There should be a work around for playing disks in different regions?
