Hi,
i was trying to write a DVD to a VHS Tape through the VCR. But after the
writing , the playback of the VCR was with a bad synchronisation. You could
watch the screen but with a synchronising problem. The sound was ok.
VCR to VCR writing is tested ok.
TV to VCR is tested ok!

What might be the problem?

Thanks

Macrovision copy-guard.

Unless you copy technique incorporates some way of removing the copy-gard
installed by the DVD manufacturer you will experience this symptom every
time you attempt doing this.

There are a few devices that have been developed to remove the Macro-vision
copy guard signal from recordings. While it is illegal to use one for the
purpose of copying a movie (I do not condone such use, that's copy-write
infringment) in some instances the copy guard signal can affect viewing the
recording when played directly on a TV. I've got one of these circuits that
was published in a elec mag many years ago and it works very well. Anyone
interested in the project plans can email me. kevin3@canoemail.com
