DVD Player has no Vocals

I replaced the audio amp chip TDA7265 in a Regent HT-500 DVD home theater.
It works perfect except for no voice track, all the other sound tracks work
fine. I don't have the remote for this unit, am I missing a setup feature
that's on the remote?

It sounds to me like you are missing the CENTER channel ......

There's a 'kareoke mode' on some DVD players, which suppresses the vocals on
music DVD's, so that one can sing along.

Check the audio menu....
