I was told that Pioneer sells DVD chips/processors. Since I cant find
anything(except DVD Drive, DVD Player, etc ...) about this on the web,
please let me know if u know this.

I don't know for certain that Pioneer makes or re-brands
somebody else's chipsets.

All I could find with a quickie search was a vague
mention of Burr-Brown DACs, and this:
