disk space for spectreS simulations

Guest
Hello,

I am running SpectreS simulations on Cadence.
When I try to bring up icfb, I get the error

*WARNING* file /home/desaiv/CDS.log Disc quota exceeded

My disk quota as exceeded and i need to clean up to free some space.
Can anybody please tell me what are the simulation output files that
can be deleted safely?
I am unsure of the extensions of the files that are uncessary and are
generated during simulations.
If I delete them , will my problem be solved?

Thanks a lot in advance

/<yourSimulationDir>/<cellName>/<simulatorName>/<viewName>/psf/tran.tran

If you run transient analysis, which needs the most disk space.

Well, it depends on where you're using the disk space, and what you're happy to
get rid of. The default location for simulation data is in ~/simulation - but
this is often customized to put it somewhere else. If you don't want to keep any
of your simulation results, delete the whole simulation directory. If you want
to keep some of them, look within the simulation directory, and delete just the
testbench directories that you no longer want.

The directory is of the form <testbenchName>/<simulator>/<view> and then
has netlist, psf etc underneath that. psf is likely to be the largest cause of
disk space in each trree.

Andrew.
