I didn't expect much for $15, but minimal smoothing of the USB input, no
isolation between USB ground and signal ground (so, earth loops), and
the things are not even stereo - the L and R are bridged at the input plug.

**NEVER buy stuff from Jaycar. Ever. There's a good reason why the boss
of Jaycar can afford a new Ferrari every year, huge homes and all the
other stuff. Jaycar pushes suppliers to deliver the cheapest possible
product, then resells at the highest possible price.

When you're successful...

Jaycar pushes suppliers to deliver the cheapest possible
product, then resells at the highest possible price.

$14.95 is the highest possible price?

Naah, it is all the description that does it. FMD but some of the prices
peeps will pay for gear that includes "sniper", "titanium" or other shite
in the brand name.

For a good laugh, Tessoro keyboards description of their mechanical
keyboards is good for a laugh;
bone of the saint,
hair of the virgin,
gem of the ancient, etc, etc

When it comes to computer speakers, anything cobbled together with a
shoebox has to be better than commercial offerings.

I bought these because one of the internal speakers in my monitor has
failed (mechanically!), and the monitor is so old that spare parts are
no longer available.

So the ultimate solution was to rip out the electronics from the
Digitech offering, leaving me with a pair of speakers in housings, and
wire them directly to where the original speakers were connected internally.

Problem solved.

Sylvia.
