There is a "low cost" (read furiously cheap) digital multimeter
that we use a few of around our workshop - and that same meter has
also been inherited by a few of our customers - so we decided to
put up a webpage describing it. We ripped the meter apart to write
the page, and we have documented just about everything you could
want to know about this particular DVM.
This is not a "how to build it" webpage but a "how to use it" -
the webpage presumes you already own the meter. However a lot of
the "low cost" DVMs out there are actually very similar inside.
I am hoping that the webpage will be useful - and maybe some people
will say "Hey that's my meter with a different label!"

Covers the basics of a DVM, specs and performance,
making measurements, and hints on using a multimeter.
