Diagnose monitor problem?

I'm dealing with a 17" ADI Microscan monitor with an intermittent
problem.

It powers up and looks normal for about 2 mins. Then slowly it starts to
get "wobbly" on the edges of the screen. At first only when you open a
second window. The first window is stable but the new one wobbles.

After about 5 mins (monitor is warm now) all windows become wobbly. I've
tried all possible refresh rates and resolutions. At this point I think
it's a hardware problem but I don't know for sure. Repair specialists
might recognize this problem easily but I don't have a clue.

Any advice?

Some components in the power supply, and or scan amplifiers have most likely
become thermo sensitive. With proper troubleshooting by someone who is
trained in TV service, this can be easily serviced.
