Default editor in Cadence

Hello everybody,

Does anybody know how to setup a default editor in the cadence? for
example, If I want to use "xemacs" as my default editor, I need to type
"Editor="xemacs"" in the CIW window after I start my cadence each time.
I am wondering is there a place I can modify the default setup?

Yes there is, the file is called '.cdsinit'
and can be located in your home directory, maybe you already have one
there.
The '.cdsinit' file, is the initialization file where to put SKILL
commands for Design Framework II initialization.

By the way the syntax for the default editor should be

editor = "xemacs"

Where 'editor is a global variable of the Design Framework II.
