Hi,
When using spectre in stand-alone mode it is possible to reference net
names hierarchically. This is convenient when I would like to measure
a signal with another circuit (not a calculator function) as I would
like the simulator to insert a break on the crossings to get the
measurement accuracy a bit better.
In ADE I have the problem that I cannot use "DUT.net1" type of labels
on nets to make them "probe" down into the hierarchy. I would hate to
have to route signals through pins all the way up the hierarcy just to
have the measurement blocks instantiated on the top level.
Has anybody had experience in this direction, or maybe an idea on
things to try?
