Dead Zenith SL2567S

I've been offered a dead Zenith SL2567S made in '94, no power, fuse blown,
before I bother to pick this thing up, is the problem likely a shorted CRT
that toasted the power supply?

Very good chance of CRT problems to begin with. Many of the factory type
parts are very difficult to get, because of the age of the set. I would
look for something better.

This is based on personal past experience. You may get the set, and a simple
fix will get it going for you.

Well I can have the set for free, but I have no use for it and have a
virtually unlimited source of broken TV's, if it's one that's likely to have
a bad tube I'll probably just pass on it, even if I did fix it I'm not sure
I could feel confident selling it.

99% chance the crt is the cause of the failure.
