I have a roland gr33 guitar synth that runs off a 240Vac to 14Vac adapter.

I would like to run it from a car battery.

If it has a simple rectifer cct then as far as I can see DC into a rectifier
just gives DC.

I have forgotten my electronics 101

Any help out there.

Regards

Norm

Only if it has a simple rectifier but if it has a floating
supply with the output voltages above and below ground it
will not work on just DC in.
A small invertor from one of the electronic supply houses
will get you out of trouble using your original adaptor.
