Hi,

What is the guidance/rules on DC and AC in close proximity eg:

1. Relay on small PCB. Relay circuits and coil run at 24v DC. Want
to operate Relay contacts at 230v AC. Relay rated for DC coil and AC
contacts.

2. DPDT toggle switch. COM leads to relay contacts. NC contacts to
DC source to be switched. NO contacts to AC source to be switched.
DPDT rated for 230v 3A AC.

What kind of guidlines are you looking for. The situation that you describe
is quite common.
You need to be concerned if you are switching DC on AC rated contacts but
that's another story.
