Hello,
I heard that it is possibile to have db access in skill launched in
bacth mode. It is true?

What exactly do you mean by batch mode.

Batch processing means without user interaction, this should be
possible, why not?

I assume you mean in non graphics mode.

Try 'icfb -nograph', probaly 'artil' or 'skill' will do it as well.

The 'skill' executable doesn't provide database access, as far as I
remember.

The executable which does is 'dbAccess'.

'icfb -nograph' provides "everything".

Hi,

I have already used icfb in nograph mode to Dump CDFs, export CDLs/
Streams and it works very fine !
I guess that functions like db... will work as well in this mode.

Riad.
