Hello people.

Where can I find datasheet for PC chipsets used in the motherboard, and
other IC like the ones used in modem, network/sound/video card? Google
mainly gives me drivers.

I am just curious...

Thanks

Umm... try the chipset manufacturers. www.intel.com is a good starting
place

I have downloaded many modem chipset datasheets before they were
removed from the Web. In particular, I have most of the earlier
Conexant/Rockwell data. If you need anything in particular, let me
know.

Thanks, I will try this. I always thought *all* chipset makers wanted
you to sign the NDA's.

I don't know about the smaller ones but I have downloaded full set
documentation from Intel.

If you have another manufacturer you're interested in, post that here and
someone may know. Also, you can try the newsgroup
comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.chips
for other knowledgeable individuals with more experience than I have with
the actual hardware.
