hi everyone,
Over the last few years its become apparent how annoyed people get
when companies like chipdocs and freetradezone(partminer) charge
hobbyists for pdf datasheets.

With much effort I've built a free site with 355,000 datasheets. The
url is http://www.datasheetarchive.com. I have a further 200,000 more
datasheets and 1500 rare data books which will be scanned and added to
the site over the next several months.

This site is run using 2 servers each with 512k upload speeds so when
it's extremely busy the download times are not amazing. I will be
upgrading soon to improve performance. Send any suggestion or comments
you have to me at administrator@datasheetarchive.com.

Hope you like the site. I'm sure it will save some of you from those
hefty subscription charges.

Chris

Hello Spehro

Yes, we at de.sci.electronics stumbeled across the same problem.
All the remaining data sheets are readily available using
www.Google.com
or any other public search engine, so there is no need for
FreeTradeZone
anymore.

The fee is as little as $375 per month, a mere $3745 for a whole
year.

Yes, you read it right, nearly FOUR THOUSAND BUCKS. Absolutely
ridiculous.

de.sci.electronics has removed all references to FreeTradeZone, we
assume
that they are DEAD and GONE, overtaken by some alien.

Excellent job. Thanks.

I am curious why we need to click thru two additional pages of redundant
information before we can actually download the datasheet.
Clicking on the first search results page to get the sheet would
eliminate a bunch of extra traffic for you and delays for us.
Dialup is a bitch.
