Hi Newsgroup!

I'm looking for a datsheet of the SCC 68070. I have already checked the
websites of Philips and Valvo. Google didn't find anything that helps me.

Can somebody help out here?

Is this a microprocessor chip part of the 68000 family
if so try looking for MC68070

I was you jokers would tell us what the IC does, I loose interest now and
leave it up to someone else.

I have a vague recollection that it is a 68000 with a bit extra added
internally.

You're right. A bit of extra information does help posters. It's like
people asking about some obscure IC, and the part might be one of
a number of things. Including number of pins, and even what they
found the device in does help. "It can't be this, because it only has
XXX pins" or, "that guess can't be right because it's not an audio device".

Providing as much information as someone knows does make it easier
for those with databooks to narrow the search.

Hi there!

It's a microprocessor of the 68000 family and it includes a I˛C interface, a
Uart and busses for data and address. The package is 88pin PLCC methinks but
there are more packages available.

Sorry for forgetting to tell this, but I was searching a few days for
"SCC68070".
"Scheuklappen" I'd say :)
