Hi there
I am looking for a datasheet for the MB88545 IC. It is used for
driving a custom LCD.
The following markings are on the IC:
Logo: F (Fujitsu ?)
MB88545
117M
8951 Z35
50507-004-51.
This is used in conjunction with a 7-segment LCD for which I would
like to get a datasheet or pinout as well. It seems to be a custom
LCD. It was salvaged from a Sartorius piece of Lab equipment (not
sure of the function).
The LCD has the following markings on it:
LPH 1542-4 (Philips ?)
QJ020
It is a LCD only with no driver IC. It has pins attached to the glass
and does not use a Zebra connector.
A search on Philip's website produced no results as well as searhing
via Google.
Is there a practical way to determine pinout without having the
datasheet available? Simple driver to determine segments and common
planes without damaging LCD?
I am crossposting because I had no reply in
sci.electronics.components.
