Daewee VCR VQ251

[ICE]

VCR gives an error "ERR" when inserting a tape. The tape is taken to the
head and then it loosens up and the VCR gives the error. Only eject works.
It started doing it sometimes, now all the time.
Any ideas?

Its most likely the mode switch . Take it apart & clean it .
Better yet throw it out & dont buy anything with Daewoo name on it .

A TFT screen is much different than a low cost VCR. Their VCR's are built as
throw-away, and are usually not worth to service. As any type of computer
screen or TV set, depending on the fault that will happen with age, these
are sometimes throw-away as well.
