DACs and ADCs

Hello all,

I would like to know how to choose the numerous ADC and DAC ICs in the
market. I have come across 8 bit, 16 bit, 2X8bit of such ICs and i don't
know what they mean. I am doing a project and I need these converters but
am hitting a dead end.

I would also like to know how i can get the components i want if i can't
find them in my area.

Hi,

If you do not know what ADC/DAC you need. may be you should not do this
project?
It is really, project requirements that drive the selection. Generally, you
would look at resolution (bits), conversion speed, etc. Those are dictated
by your project requirements and nothing else. Then you would lokk at
price/packages, etc.

I do not want to offend you, but it looks like you do not know what you are
doing.
