DAB tuner for BMW head unit

Has anyone any experience of putting an off the shelf DAB tuner
(boot/trunk mounted) (such as this one:
http://www.pioneer-eur.com/eur/product_detail.jsp?product_id=7268&taxonomy_id=25-38)
together with a standard 'BMW Business' head unit? I'm told that this
isn't possible (i.e. no boot mount DAB tuner exists that is compatible
with the BMW head units), but can't get rid of head unit (has integrated
car phone kit), and would really like a DAB tuner in my car.

Ideally, I'm after an electronics whizz who can make a converter so that
the head unit will be fooled into thinking there is a standard CD
changer in the boot rather than another manufacturer's DAB tuner!

Anyone got any contacts or knowledge on how to do this kind of thing?

As long as you don't need to run a changer as well, try this

http://www.connects2.com/c2products.asp#AUX

It will emulate a CD changer and has a pair of RCA's for you to put
your audio into.
