cvs for veriloga?

Is there any sort of reasonable way to use cvs to control veriloga
views for cells? I'm the only one writing to this particular library
and I've used versionsync for schematics, but lets face it, versionsync
sucks. Especially for text sources like veriloga, it doesn't seem that
you can do diffs between versions and thats on top of the other
limitations.

Suggestions? Does DesignSync have some decent capabilities for
handling text files?
